Wall Settings - Earth Pressure

AB Walls offers the user an option of calculating dynamic stability by using two different methods. First is commonly used in AASHTO or FHWA design and is referred to as the Active Wedge method. The second is commonly used by Engineers designing projects using NCMA seismic calculations and is referred to as the Trapezoidal method. AB Walls allows the user to choose either of these common methods or the default of greater of the two.For further explanations of the two methods see the Allan Block Engineering Manual.
